God Grant Me This Wish

God grant me the mind
That says all is fine
God don't late hate dwell in me
Let Your light be all I see
I want to forgive and forget
I want to live with no regrets
I know I must let it all go
Even if I lose let it be so
I want to have a heart filled with love
That can only be given by You above
God remove me from this soil of hate
I want You to be first and not second rate
God grant me this request
And help me on this quest
Of only looking to You
